Random Ramblings on Reality What is Reality? Is It a place, is It a feeling, a knowledge? Is Reality even Truth? Is Reality the "Real World" or is It just part of Imagination? Reality is determined to be what It is by each Person to be what It is to the Person contemplating it. You ask what am I talking about. I am saying what i believe Reality to be. To me Reality is what our mind sees the world as. Our Mind -- is that Real? You say yes. Our Consciousness -- is that Real as well then? Again you say yes. But how are we to know what Consciousness Truly is? We simply cannot. We cannot define anything. These words - you say that they have definitions - but they do not. No Math problem Truly has an answer. No, you say, i must be wrong. But to me I am correct. What I am saying fits into my definition (a "mental" condition) of what Reality is. There is, however, no True definition to Reality, Consciousness, or even to Truth. Reality then is what we as individuals believe in, you ask. Yes, I answer, that is why nothing may have a definition. To a person who believes they must die Reality is death. But what is Death? To some Death is simply the end of life, to others it is the release. The release may mean from pain, or the release from bondage, as we are all held in bondage by life. Death may be a great void, or it may be the Utopia that we all seek. Death is only what we believe it to be, just like Reality. If this be true, then can there be a God, you ask. But what is God? Is It the Creator and Destroyer of all life? Is It the Ruler of the Utopia or is It the void into which we all fall? God is only what you believe it to be. Like Reality and God, the Meaning of Life has no answer. Is It meant to be suffered or is It meant to be a pleasure, like sex? There can be no correct or incorrect answer. That is all that Reality is -- a question with NO REAL ANSWER! "neochaos" Richard 02/02/2000
